It always feels strange referring to charitable work as “giving back.” It makes it seems like you took something from the people you’re helping and are now sheepishly returning it. Like “here’s that 20 I snagged off your dresser, I’m gonna write it off on my taxes.” Instead, we at Prank-O aim to “give laughs.” Because laughter makes the world a better place. No, that’s just not something we read on a bumper sticker (although someone should make that bumper sticker), it’s something we actually believe. What better way to process our pain, our insecurities, our missing earbuds, then through laughter?
