Is it a testament to humanity’s longing for physical messaging in an algorithm-dominated society? Or is it just a simple way to say you got some junk in your garage if anyone wants it? All we know is that these flyers are ripe for parody, so we parodied them.

Where did the prank flyers come from?
While there are plenty of hilarious examples out there from other people — Alan Wagner is my personal favorite — my own first foray into fake bulletin board material dates back to the late '70s at my local library. It was a crudely cut-out, photocopied sheet advertising CAMEL RENTAL. I don't remember much else about it, but I do remember turning it over in my mind for a long time afterward.
Where do the ideas come from?
I suppose mostly from observing various special interest groups and then giving things a little spin.
Have you heard from customers' experience?
One user reported that the "Wasps In Printer" sign caused a small office to evacuate while he watched from his desk, and my local police department actually ran a notice debunking the "Hose Audit" flyers I was testing in my neighborhood in the early days!
